Paris Mangriotis
BEng (Hons), CEng, MRINA

Paris is a Consultant Naval Architect with LOC, a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. He joined London Offshore Consultants from Lloyd's Register where he has had 13 years of experience in a wide variety of classification and consultancy services.

His recent work has included:

• Analytical non-class investigations
• Developing training courses for the new IACS Common Tanker Rules
• Plan approval procedures and software review

His technical investigation experience includes:

• Full scale seakeeping measurements
• Shaftline and bearing problems
• Vibration investigations

Paris has worked as an outport surveyor in Poland. His experience included:

• Existing ships surveys such as: drydockings, repairs and periodical surveys
• New construction surveys on tankers, bulk carriers and containerships

Paris is also a fluent Greek speaker and has experience of account management for shipowning clients.
