Edward Wollaston

Edward is a Consultant Naval Architect with LOC, a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. He is particularly experienced in classification and ship structural matters.

Prior to joining LOC Edward has had 4.5 years of experience with Det Norske Veritas in a wide variety of classification services.

Edward has worked as a class surveyor in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Norway and China. His experience there included:

• Ships in operation surveys such as: drydockings, repairs, periodical and statutory surveys.
• New build surveys on cruise liners and super yachts
• Certification of materials and components for maritime use.
• Verification work for items intended for offshore use (lifting appliances and umbilicals)
