Jonathan Walker
MRIN, MNI, Master Mariner

Jon is a Master Mariner with LOC since 1995, and a Director in Singapore since 1998. Has served at sea as Master on tankers and has substantial experience of Petroleum Products and Chemical carriage.

Marine consultant specialising in marine casualty investigations including groundings, stranding, collisions, total losses and sinkings. He is an approved SCR and has attended major casualties on behalf of P&I Clubs, Admiralty Lawyers and Insurance interests which have included loss of cargo, cargo contamination/ damage, pollution, fixed object damage and speed/angle of blow investigations, overseeing and attendance at major salvage and wreck removal operations in the Asia - Pacific region. Has prepared reports and provided opinion for Arbitration / High Court hearings and acted as Expert Witness in Malaysia and Australia.

He has extensive offshore warranty survey experience particularly with FPSO conversion/construction including towage studies/approval, SBM's, loadout of jacket and deck modules. He has undertaken studies on jetty development in Singapore.
